What is the Commercial Rotation Program?

The Commercial Rotation Program (CRP) is a two-year rotational program designed to help you launch a challenging, accelerated and rewarding career. You’ll have the tools to build a strong foundation in Commercial credit analysis, Commercial risk management, and other various functions and products offered to clients.

As a part of the Commercial Rotation Program, you’ll participate in two rotations across various Commercial Bank business areas including: Healthcare & Technology, Media and Telecom, Energy Banking, Financial Institutions, Middle Market Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Capital Markets, and Credit Risk & Analytics.

Rotation locations may include Chicago, IL; Houston, TX; New York City, NY; and DC Metro (Bethesda, MD and McLean, VA). Associate placement in each location is determined by business demand, and Associates can look forward to changing geographic locations at least once during the two-year program.

Throughout both rotations, you’ll be an integral part of your team and have a wide variety of hands-on experiences. You’ll develop a thorough understanding of commercial banking and risk management, while learning the fundamentals of relationship management, underwriting and portfolio management. Ongoing training will provide an in-depth look into critical teams and support functions, offering you a unique perspective across the Commercial Bank.

You’ll receive ongoing mentorship and career development from seasoned leaders and executives across the Bank, helping you build the necessary skills, competencies and experiences to accelerate your career. Challenging team and individual projects, client interaction, broad business exposure, along with an immersion into multiple areas of the Commercial Bank will allow you to develop a strong foundation in financial & credit analysis and grow as a leader in the financial services industry.

Upon program completion, you’ll be given the opportunity to explore roles within the Commercial Bank across all business areas and geographies. Many of our graduates go on to pursue careers in areas like Underwriting and Portfolio Management, Credit Risk, Capital Markets, and more.

We value collaboration and innovation. On the Commercial Banking team, you’ll find energized, positive people rolling up their sleeves to deliver value-added solutions, products and services for our clients.
